Over 25 years ago, Fan Yang (born in Vietnam and raised in Serbia) discovered bubbles- not like he invented them or anything- but he was a street performer and on a whim decided to add bubbles to his routine. The problem was that the normal store-bought bubbles, were not strong enough, so he began experimenting with the solution, and created what would ultimately become Gazillion Bubble solution. That solution reflected the colors better and was stronger and more playable to work with. He took the street routine and turned it into a stage show - he added lights, lasers, smoke machines and music and The Gazillion Bubble Show was born.
The show is performed by one member of the Yang family and this February 12, 2017 it will celebrate its 10th year in New York City. In addition to that milestone - the show has broken 19 worlds records including: most people in the bubble - 181; Longest Bubble 171 feet; they put an Elephant in a Bubble and many others.
The Yangs are a bubble institution. About seven years ago, Fan's children, Deni and Melody, took over the New York Show while Fan focus the brand globally. They have performers all throughout Asia, Europe, Mexico and Australia.
When they arrived in NYC, the shows was only supposed to run for nine performances, but word caught on very quickly and tickets began to sell and show kept extending to meet demand, today it is one of the longest running family shows in NY, with just over 4,000 performances.
The Gazillion Bubble Show blends bubble magic and artistry, music and lasers.
