Tony Winner Dominick LaRuffa Jr. to Join MY BIG GAY ITALIAN FUNERAL

Dominick LaRuffa Jr. is set to take on the role of "Dominick Vitale" in the hit Off-Broadway comedy "My Big Gay Italian Funeral" (now approaching its two year anniversary) Sunday May 10th, opposite creator Anthony J. Wilkinson. On June 6th, 2015 LaRuffa Jr. will continue on with the cast in Wilkinson's long running original hit comedy "My Big Gay Italian Wedding" in the role of "Mario."

Dominick has been represented on Broadway as producer of All The Way (Tony Award), The Velocity of Autumn, The Realistic Joneses, You Can't Take It With You (Tony Nomination), On The Town (Tony Nomination), An American in Paris (Tony Nomination), and the upcoming new musical Tuck Everlasting. An alumni of Pace Performing Arts Alumnus where he received his BFA in Acting, Dominick is a Proud member of SAG-AFTRA, The Broadway League and now the Actors Equity Association. His other New York Credits include Bug, The River of Tides, Dog Sees God and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Presented by Bianco Productions, both productions star its creator, three time Emmy winner Anthony J. Wilkinson, who originated the role of Anthony Pinnunziato back in November of 2003. Both shows were directed by Sonia Blangiardo and are currently General Managed by 22Q Entertainment.

The cast of Wedding and Funeral includes Anthony J. Wilkinson as Anthony, Hugh Hysell as Maurizio, Donna Castellano as Angela, Marissa Rosen as Maria, Debra Toscano as Toniann, Liz Gerecitano as Lucia, Meagan Robar as Connie/Eva/Aunt Donna, Erik Ransom as Rodney (wedding) and Vidal (Funeral), Chad Kessler as Joseph and Father Rosalia (Wedding) and Rabbi Horowitz, Pontessa, Lou (Funeral), Danny Bernardy as Andrew (Wedding), Fred Ross as Mario (Wedding), Matt Gregorio as Frankie (Wedding), Brandon Haagenson as Gregorio (Wedding), Taso Mikroulis as Peter (Funeral), Maximo Sorrentino as Dominick (Funeral), and Katherine Pecevich as Ondine (Funeral).
