The year is 1953. As Senator Joseph McCarthy battles the red menace in Washington, DC, the rest of America tunes into TV's top rated midday show, The Big Uncut Flick, with Mr & Mrs. Matinee, where the 1934 crime drama Say Your Prayers, Ya Mug, comes to life on stage.
Playwright TODD MICHAEL, who plays Arlene Lewis, is the author of and appeared in Bad Dames Go To Hell, The Poverty Row Double Horror Show, The Cobra Lady Strikes, Say Your Prayers, Mug!, Right Cross Rhapsody (Horse Trade Theatre Co.), The Greatest B-Movie Ever Told (FringeNYC/Access Theatre), Vice Girl Confidential (FringeNYC/Studio at Cherry Lane), which won the FringeNYC 2006 Overall Excellence Award for Outstanding Ensemble, and The Asphalt Christmas. Director Synge Maher's recent directing credits include Don't Dress for Dinner, The Children's Hour and Tartuffe. Synge is the founder of www.voicesinsideout.com, a program dedicated to the artistic exchange of those inside and outside prison.

Richey Nash (Burning/Rattlesnake, Hoopz, Hitting the Cycle) and David L. Zweirs (Psycho Sorority Girl, Bad Dames Go To Hell, The Cobra Lady Strikes), who also designed the costumes. The technical and Sound Designer is Louis Lopardi.
