On Friday, November 5th THE F.U.D.G.E. (FRIENDS UNITED DEVELOPING GENUINE ENTERTAINMENT) Theatre Company, Inc. will inaugurate its 10th Anniversary Season of Celebration.
After presenting nine years of highly acclaimed innovative and commercial theatre for thousands of New England theatre enthusiasts the F.U.D.G.E. Executive Board is proud to announce their 10
th Anniversary Season's four anticipated productions; all of which will be in residence at THE ARSENAL CENTER FOR THE ARTS (321 Arsenal Street, Watertown, Massachusetts.)
All four productions will be directed and designed by Joe DeMita, Founder, President and Artistic Director of F.U.D.G.E.
"A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM""BAREFOOT IN THE PARK" (1963), Neil Simon's celebration of the impossible complications of love and marriage in a five-story walk-up apartment in Manhattan, will be presented from Friday, January 28
th through Saturday, February 5th.
"THE GLORIOUS ONES" (1627), Stephen Flaherty's (Music) & Lynn Ahrens' (Lyrics) celebration of the impossible complications of love and marriage in a travelling troupe of self-obsessed actors who are completely infatuated with their own talents and any standing ovations they can marshal, will be presented from Friday, April 29
th through Saturday, May 7th.
"CAROUSEL" (1873), Richard Rodgers' (Music) & Oscar Hammerstein II's (Lyrics) celebration of the impossible complications of love and marriage in Heaven and in a small New England town, will be presented from Friday, July 29
th through Saturday, August 6th.

ABOUT JOE DeMITA
JOE DeMITA is one of the founders of The F.U.D.G.E Theatre Company, Inc. Directing credits include Jake's Women (Stonehill Theatre Company), Company (Winthrop Playmakers), and the F.U.D.G.E. productions of Once On This Island, Working, Rumors, Urinetown, Dedication or The Stuff of Dreams, I Sing!, The House of Blue Leaves, Into the Woods, Bat Boy, I Love You Because (Boston Premiere), Fuddy Meers, and bare (Boston Premiere). Joe has also served as the directing intern to Rob Ruggiero at TheatreWorks Hartford on productions of The Exonerated (featuring TV/Film star Kim Fields) and the world premiere musical Ella: Off the Record (starring Broadway's Tina Fabrique). In the Boston area, Joe served as the assistant director to Adam Zahler on the Lyric Stage's production of Talley's Folly. His work on the Company's production of Nevermore received unanimous critical acclaim. He most recently directed the F.U.D.G.E. Theatre Company's World Premiere of Charles Antin and Ryan Cunningham's romantic comedy, Half-Married, the New England Premiere of Broadway's Glory Days and the highly praised and critically acclaimed musical, VIOLET.
