The Bushwick Shakespeare Repertory (BSR) will present Julius Caesar from February 18 - 28th at the Access Theatre in Tribeca.

Julius Caesar, is a psychological drama exploring the human struggle for power, security, trust, and friendship.

Eight actors from this all-female collaborative will play the 30 roles portrayed in the story. They will trade the classic toga and laurel wreath garb for plaid skirts and bouffant hairstyles, as the story is set at an all-girls' boarding school in 1960s northeast America. In this application of the ancient tale, the audience is reminded how hierarchies and manipulation are no different in high school as in the world's political arena, and can be just as dangerous. Julius Caesar is directed by Jordan Simmons; produced/assistant directed by Tiffany Baker; costumes by Megan Sanders; Hair/Makeup by Ashley Chlebus; Sound Design by Amanda Gookin; Fight Choreography by Jordan Reeves; Graphic Design by Kelsey McMahon.

WITH: Lexi Balaoing, Jordan Boughrum, Rebecca Davis, Whitney Kimball Long, Alexis Robbins, Liz Sklar*, Amanda Tudor*, Emily Clare Zempel*. (*Courtesy of Actors' Equity Association.)
