THE Barrow Group (Lee Brock and Seth Barrish, Co-Artistic Directors; Robert Serrell, Executive Director) is proud to announce complete casting for the final show in their 2016/17 season EXPECTING ISABEL written by Lisa Loomer. Directed by Seth Barrish,EXPECTING ISABEL begins performances Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the TBG Theatre at The Barrow Group (312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor) and officially opens Tuesday, June 13, 2017 for a limited run through Saturday, July 8, 2017. The cast of EXPECTING ISABEL will include Alex Correia (Mrs. Jansen Isn't Here at The Barrow Group), Michael Cuomo* (Netflix's "Orange is the New Black"), Kathryn Kates* ("Seinfeld"), Daniela Malavé (The Awesome 80's Prom), Myles O'Connor* (Merry Christmas Baby! (just f**king die)), Priscilla Shanks* (Bean), Myra Thibault (Short Stuff 7: Torpid at The Barrow Group) and Daphna Thier (Tomorrow Ever After).
Written by Lisa Loomer (Distracted) and directed by Seth Barrish, EXPECTING ISABEL is a heart-warming story of a middle-aged woman desperately seeking to have a child who runs into all sorts of formidable obstacles.
EXPECTING ISABEL will feature set design by Peiyi Wong, lighting design by Solomon Weisbard and costume design by Kristin Isola. Allison Raynes* will serve as Production Stage Manager.

The Barrow Group's 2016/17 Season began with Mike Leigh's ABIGAIL'S PARTY, a New York Times Critics' Pick, directed by Lee Brock. This was followed by Seth Barrish and K. Lorrel Manning's new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE in March 2017.
