Tanner Bollinger ('Luke' from the national tour of "Altar Boyz"), Gainsville Theatre Alliance's Haden Rider and Montclair State University's Phil Sloves star in the highly anticipated new musical, HOME WORK (formerly known as THE GODS OF FRIDAY NIGHT: The Lone Star Gridiron Musical), brings the popularity of Texas high school football to the stage.

From the creator and writer of MANCHESTER HIGH: IF THESE LOCKERS COULD TALK, a film about bullying and teen empowerment, Nicholas B. Holstein (book writer and lyrics), Jeremy Blachman (lyrics) and Sophia E. DiGonis (lyrics and muisic) brings to the New York stage an emotional, high energy, and impactful show.

With the music-style much like BARE, RENT, THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS and FOOTLOOSE and a plot a mixture of NEXT TO NORMAL, MEAN GIRLS, and FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS with a little bit of DEGRASSI, about not judging others and teen empowerment, and finding your own and be yourself. This new anti-bullying musical takes a look at the "dark side of high school" focusing on bullying, depression, suicide, gun violence, fitting in, and relationships. HOME WORK proves to be a success.

This musical will be scoring a touchdown for a one-night reading and concert on May 20, 2014 at New World Stages, Stage 2. For tickets, check out www.manchester-high.com for purchasing link and updates.
