Timmy the Great is a new musical based on the children's book King Timmy the Great by Sandra Hochman and Tad Danielak, (which was inspired by the Polish martyr, Janusz Korshak's, book "King Matt The First"). Book & Lyrics are by poet, novelist, journalist, Sandra Hochman (Yale Younger Poets Award, and twice nominated for a Pulitzer Prize); Gary Kupper ("Freckle Face Strawberry") has composed the music; and Edward Pierce is the production consultant. Choreographed by Julie Arenal ("Hair"). The production is directed by Julie Arenal and Jay Binder.

Following the death of King Edward the Sensible, nine-year-old Timmy inherits the throne of the Kingdom of Hearts. The children of the kingdom want to be treated as adults - they stage a revolution and occupy the palace lawn to demand change. The adults organize a counter-revolution. If the children get the rights of adults, then the adults want the rights (and freedoms) of children. Capitalizing on the Kingdom of Heart's unrest, three neighboring kings - the comic trio of King John the Nervous, King Andre the Gluttonous, and King Marvin the Slow-Minded - seek to take over the country. King Timmy, with his childlike wisdom, devises unconventional solutions to thwart the devious kings. Timmy the Great is a fantastic musical for revolutionaries of all ages.

Any resemblance to the world's present problems is purely un-coincidental.

The twelve-member cast is comprised of Ricky Altamirano, Zachary Brod, Caley Crawford, Cormac Cullinane, Tommy J. Dose, Anna McCarthy, Lisha McKoy, Jason Pintar, Jared Riley, Anna Grace Rosenthal, Andy Schneeflock and Clyde Voce.
