Brian Hampton's award-winning play, The Jungle Fun Room, will be presented July 31st at 7:30pm at New World Stages, Stage 2 (340 West 50th Street) for one-night-only to benefit the Long Island Bulldog Rescue, a non-profit organization whose mission is to help English Bulldogs through education, prevention, intervention, and adoption throughout the northeast and eastern Canada.

The original 2009 FringeNYC cast will reprise their roles with Brian Hampton as Screg, Kim Goldfeder as Eve, Carter Calvert as Shelly, Trey Mitchell as Trevor, Beverly Lauchner as Hillary Parker, and Paul Nugent as Jackson. The production will be directed by Mary Jane Houdina.

The Jungle Fun Room centers around a group of struggling actors who spend their days working children's birthday parties at the New York City Zoo. When an eager new worker arrives fresh off the musical theatre conservatory boat, followed by the birthday girl's Oscar-winning Mom, it throws all involved into an emotional and hysterical loop where they're faced with past and present realties of their roles in show business and in life.

Doors open for this benefit at 6pm. Tickets are available now by visiting www.telecharge.com or by calling 212-239-6200.

This production is being presented by The Long Island Bulldog Rescue and the Petco Foundation. All proceeds will be donated to the Long Island Bulldog Rescue. More information about this organization can be found at www.longislandbulldogrescue.org.
