THE BOYS FROM SYRACUSE Comes to The Lion Theatre ImageMusical Tonight! opens its 20th Spring Season with The Boys from Syracuse with an All-Male Interpretation of this Rodgers and Hart's classic.

The Boys from Syracuse is a comedy farce with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Lorenz Hart, based on William Shakespeare's play, The Comedy of Errors, as adapted by librettist George Abbott, aka Mister Broadway.

Award winning director, choreographer and Broadway veteran, Jonathan Cerullo, is making his debut with Musical Tonight!, and has added an extra layer of confusion to this madcap musical about mistaken identity. For the very first time, the roles of Adriana, her maid Luce, her sister Luciana and The Chief Courtesan will be played by men. Jonathan has been joined by Music Director and Vocal Arranger, Evan Rees and Assistant Choreographer, Sue Delano in the crafting of this exciting and fresh idea. Shakespeare meets Commedia dell'arte meets Vaudeville meets Broadway.
