"The Accidental Pervert" - the hilarious autobiographical no holds barred play about one man's obsessive love of pornography which recently received its second international production in Panama City, Panama, has extended its Off-Broadway run for a sixth time, now through July 27, 2013 at the Thirteenth Street Repertory Theatre (50 West 13th Street, btw 5th and 6th Avenues) it has been announced by the plays' author Andrew Goffman.
Currently in its 4th year Off-Broadway (playing Fridays at Saturdays at 7pm) and nearing its 400th performance "The Accidental Pervert" - tells the hilarious story of an 11-year-old boy who finds his Dad's adult video collection. This riotous narrative takes the audience on a real-life adventure through one boy's distorted views of sex and love, until he meets his wife and ultimately becomes a father himself.
"We attribute most of our success to our fantastic audiences," stated Mr. Goffman "those who have been lucky enough to get a seat in the intimate Thirteenth Street Rep have a fantastic time and they keep recommending it to their family member and friends - our word of mouth has been through the roof! I'm thrilled that we'll be able to continue "The Accidental Pervert" - it means I can continue my quest to pervert the world 69 people at a time! I'm having a blast and so is the audience, it's just good dirty fun with a message."
Earlier this year, "The Accidental Pervert" launched its second international production in Panama City, which followed a yearlong run of the play in Buenos Aires, Argentina that starred Argentinian comedian, and TV personality Cabito (Eduardo Javier Cabito Massa Alcantara).
"The Accidental Pervert" continues to play at the Thirteenth Street Repertory Theatre (50 West 13th Street, btw 5th and 6th Avenues) in Manhattan, every Friday and Saturday at 7:00pm. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online at http://goo.gl/6mb0E or by calling 212-352-3101.
