The Chinese calendar states that 2014 is the year of the horse, but in the NY theater world, it is The Year of the Pervert! The hit off-Broadway comedy "The Accidental Pervert" has announced that it will be extended into 2014 at The 13th Street Repertory Theatre.
The story of a boy who happened upon his Dad's stash of pornographic videos and how it set off a lifetime of addiction to sex, has been entertaining audiences in NYC since 2009. Andrew Goffman's comedic coming-of-age tale is now entering its fifth year running off-Broadway. The hysterical and heartrending narrative has been well received by both critics and crowds alike. The show has also enjoyed runs in Argentina and Panama.
The play stars author Andrew Goffman and is directed by Charles Messina.
See "The Accidental Pervert", every Friday and Saturday night at the 13th St Repertory Theatre, at 50 W 13th St between 5th and 6th Aves. Tickets can be purchased online by calling 212.352.3101, or visiting the website at www.TheAccidentalPervert.com.
