Alfred Hitchcock's THE 39 STEPS is thrilled to announce a mystery book giveaway. Starting Monday, December 6th, all full priced ticket holders will receive a free mystery book. The books will be given out at every performance, while supplies last. Additionally, free books will be given to everyone who attends the closing night performance on January 16, 2011!
Patrons can present their full-price ticket to the merchandise booth at New World Stages to collect their book. The books come courtesy of publisher Penguin Books and include
John Buchan's original crime novel, The Thirty-Nine Steps (http://us.penguingroup.com/).

Simon Corble and
Nobby Dimon and on the book by
John Buchan.
THE 39 STEPS features a cast of four actors who, against all odds, breathlessly and hilariously attempt to reenact all of the characters, locations and famous scenes in Hitchcock's 1935 film thriller with just a few props and a lot of theatrical ingenuity and split second quick changes.

Mic Pool. Original movement was created by
Toby Sedgwick. Additional movement is created by
Christopher Bayes. Production stage manager is M. William Shiner.

Tickets ($89.50 - 69.50) are available through Telecharge at 212-239-6200 or online at www.telecharge.com. Student rush is available for $26.50. All prices include a $1.50 facility fee. Performances are Monday, Wednesday - Saturday at 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 3:00PM. 39 tickets are available for $39 for both Wednesday & Thursday evening performances. Through January 2, $5 will be donated to the Avon Foundation for Breast Cancer Research for every ticket sold using the code TNCALLING9.
