Drag superstar Sweetie, recently seen on "Project Runway" and in WIG OUT!, hosts the WIG OUT! COSTUME EXTRAVANGZA, a special one-night-only event offering drinks, divas, drag and dance presented by the Vineyard Theater on Thursday, May 21, beginning with a cocktail reception at 7:00pm, followed by a fashion show, silent auction of costumes from the hit musical WIG OUT! designed by Toni-Leslie James, and dance party featuring the stars of WIG OUT! at the Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) in Manhattan.

The WIG OUT! COSTUME EXTRAVANZA gets started with cocktails at 7pm, followed by a fabulous fashion show, hosted by drag star Miss Sweetie and starring some of the stars of the recent Vineyard hit WIG OUT! in costumes designed by Toni-Leslie James, then continues with a dance party featuring disco, pop and soul favorites.

Participants in the fashion show include WIG OUT! original Off-Broadway cast members Daniel T. Booth, Joshua Cruz, McKenzie Frye, Angela Grovey, Rebecca Naomi Jones, and others to be announced.

The evening includes a silent auction giving bidders the opportunity to own one of Ms. James' incredible costume designs worn in the Vineyard Theatre's production of Tarell Alvin McCraney's WIG OUT! which had an record-breaking run at the theater earlier this season.

Sweetie (a.k.a. Daniel T. Booth) co-starred as the wickedly fierce Serena in The Vineyard's acclaimed production of WIG OUT!, and was last seen on strutting down the runway of Bravo's popular reality series "Project Runway." Other credits include appearances in the films "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar," RuPaul's "StarrBooty," and "No Exit."

Toni-Leslie James recently received a Lucille Lortel nomination for Outstanding Costume Design for WIG OUT! Her costume designs have been seen on Broadway in Chita Rivera: THE DANCER'S LIFE, Ma Rainey'S BLACK BOTTOM, THE WILD PARTY, MARIE CHRISTINE, FOOTLOOSE, and among others, JELLY'S LAST JAM, for which she received Tony and Drama Desk nominations.

Joshua Cruz recently received a Drama League Distinguished Performance nomination for his portrayal of Venus in The Vineyard's production of WIG OUT!. McKenzie Frye, Angela Grovey and Rebecca Naomi Jones were featured in the production as the Fates 3. Ms. Jones, who recently starred on Broadway in PASSING STRANGE, also appeared this season in The Vineyard's production of The Civilians' acclaimed new work THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY.
