The acclaimed Storm Theatre Company best known for revisiting and discovering classic plays has announced that it will open their Fall, 2014 season with the New York premiere of The Believers , a new play by Robert Carroll. Previews will start tonight, September 26th with an opening night set for October 11th.
Under the direction of Stephen Logan Day, the cast includes Taylor Anthony Miller, Joe Danbusky, Ted McGuinness, Laura Bozzone, Christopher Bellant and Pastrick Melville. Set design is by Josh Iacovelli; costumes by Jennie West Alexander; lighting design by Michael Abrams and sound design and original music by Matt Otto.

On the eve of the New York City Democratic Primary, Chris Connor, a brilliant young campaign manager is getting slammed by dirty tricks from the opposition and faces these questions. The Believers is based on the inner workings of political campaigns in New York City. Playwright Carroll has worked for numerous candidates and elected officials in New York City. The Believers is drawn from the inspiration of these true-life experiences.
