'Sisters Dance' Debuts Off-Bway 2/6; Adams Directs

Emerging Artists Theatre announce Sisters' Dance, directed by Paul Adams. Sisters' Dance will play a four-week Off-Broadway engagement at Baruch Performing Arts Center (55 Lexington Avenue – access available on East 25th Street between Lexington and 3rd Avenue). Performances begin Wednesday, February 6, and continue through Sunday, March 2. Opening Night Performance is Saturday, February 9 at 5PM.

"Sisters' Dance is about two estranged sisters, Fleur and Alice, who reunite on the family farm after the death of their mother. Long held resentment simmers to the surface when they realize their mother's will is still forcing them to cooperate. When Alice's husband and Fleur's hustler boyfriend enter the picture the sisters' dance becomes one of betrayal and seduction. Fleur and Alice will be forever changed in this searing drama about sisterhood, forgiveness, and a mother's love," explain press notes.

The production features scenic design by Brian Garber, costume design by Melanie Blythe, and lighting design by G. Benjamin Swope. Kristyn R. Smith is the sound designer, Stephanie Weisner is the property master, and Amanda Schulze is the stage manager.

Sisters' Dance plays the following regular schedule through Sunday, March 2: Wednesday at 7PM; Thursday at 7PM; Saturday at 5PM and Sunday at 2PM. There is an additional performance on Friday, February 29 at 4PM.

Tickets are $50 general admission and $25 students with ID. Tickets are available online at www.eatheatre.org  or by calling 866-811-4111.

Tickets may also be purchased, in person, at Baruch Performing Arts Center (55 Lexington Avenue). Box Office hours are: Monday - Friday: 10 am - 7 pm. The Box Office will also be open 2 hours before each performance. TDF accepted.
