Sally Struthers And Bonnie Milligan Star In Staged Readings Of New Musical OH MY GOD...BROADWAY ImageAs part of its Developmental Reading Series, The York Theatre Company presents two-time Emmy Award Winner Sally Struthers and Head Over Heels Star Bonnie Milligan in Staged Readings of New Musical Oh My God...Broadway!!

Oh My God...Broadway!! is an over-the-top satirical farce exploring the craziness of the musical theatre industry from the perspective of a team of actors who may be close to the edge of insanity. This irreverent and referential riot of a show is strictly done with affection for all things musical theatre and is set for staged reading presentations at The York Theatre Company. With book, music, and lyrics by Karlan Judd (Cheer Wars, Hunger: still lifes from the Donner Expeditions, The Case of the B-Team Cheerleader), direction by Tristan J. Shuler (NYC directorial debut; starred in Spamilton, Cruel Intentions), and musical direction by Rich Silverstein (Musical of Musicals, Spring Awakening, The Apprentice, 35MM + cast recording). Oh My God...Broadway!! will have presentations on Monday, October 29th at 2:30pm and 7:00pm at the York Theatre at St. Peter's Church (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on 54th Street just east of Lexington).

When four frustrated actors have had enough of the ins and outs of show-biz knocking them down, they enlist the help of their mentor and agent, Gladys Mayweather (Sally Struthers) and hatch a plan to kidnap Marge, the producer who's decided to recast them with celebrity talent after a wildly successful Broadway workshop. Gladys is willing to do anything to help her "angels" make their Broadway debut and get out of the seemingly endless purgatory that is her day job at the Times Square Diner. When this quintet takes control of The Producing Office, the power goes to their heads. We discover who's in it for the right reasons, and who's in it only to avenge a dark grudge against the evil producer Marge Masterson! Oh My God...Broadway!! is a dark comedy that asks the eternal question: how far would you go to make your dreams come true?

The cast of Oh My God...Broadway!! includes Sally Struthers (Gilmore Girls, All in the Family), Bonnie Milligan (Head Over Heels, Kinky Boots National Tour), Cartreze Tucker (Motown the Musical National Tour, Hair National Tour), Nicholas Barnes (Skippyjon Jones, Bolin Schmolin) and Michael Evan Williams (Cruel Intentions: The Musical, Bullets Over Broadway National Tour). Stage Manager is Chet Craft.

Reservations will be available beginning October 1st, 2018 through The York Theatre.
