STOMP, the international sensation and New York City landmark, has joined Mayor Michael Bloomberg's "C'mon LeBron" campaign in an attempt to woo basketball star LeBron James here when he becomes a free agent on July 1. Other luminaries involved include Matt Lauer, Chris Rock, Maria Bartiromo, Spike Lee, Tracy Morgan, Alec Baldwin, Mario Batali and Marcus Samuelsson.

STOMP is currently playing in New York, London's West End, and on North American and European tours. In addition to the stage shows, STOMP has been an overwhelming success marked by rave reviews, numerous awards, an Academy Award nomination, four Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award for their acclaimed HBO special Stomp Out Loud, noteworthy TV appearances ranging from The Academy Awards to Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, and a series of award-winning international commercials. STOMP was also seen in a series of New York City public service announcements, print and outdoor ads encouraging people to STOMP OUT LITTER.

Critics and audiences have raved: "STOMP is a sure-fire crowd pleaser with a rock-and-roll heart," says The New York Times. "STOMP finds beautiful noise in the strangest places," says USA Today. It is the winner of an Olivier Award for Best Choreography (London's Tony Award); an Obie Award; a Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatre Experience, and a Special Citation from Best Plays.
