STOMP, the international sensation and long running New York stage hit, will join with The American Heart Association's Go Red For Women this week to ask America to go RED in celebration of the 10th National Wear Red Day on February 1, 2013. Women have been fighting heart disease - the No. 1 killer of women - both individually and together as part of the Go Red For Women movement for 10 years. To date, more than 627,000 women's lives have been saved, but the fight is far from over. Women need the right information, education and care, in order to treat, prevent, and even end heart disease.

Tomorrow, Thursday, January 31, the eve of the 10th National Wear Red Day, Go Red For Women is hosting a lighting ceremony at Macy's Herald Square in New York City - the first iconic building to turn red. Macy's is a founding national sponsor of Go Red For Women and has raised $40 million to support the cause since 2004. Stomp will wear red and perform in front of Macy's along with Broadway's Judy Kaye from Nice Work If You Can Get It, Motown's Valisia LeKae, and Star Jones, the American Heart Association's national volunteer, as she invites New Yorkers to kick off National Wear Red Day.

The next day, Friday February 1, Stomp will be wearing red again at their performance on Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" at approximately 8:50 AM performing one of their iconic routines.

STOMP plays New York's Orpheum Theatre, in London, and on North American and European tours. Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, Stomp is currently playing in New York, London's West End, on North American and European tours. In addition to the stage shows, Stomp has been an overwhelming success marked by rave reviews, numerous awards, an Academy Award nomination, four Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award for their acclaimed HBO special Stomp Out Loud, noteworthy TV appearances including The London 2012 Olympic Games Closing Ceremony, The Academy Awards (produced by Quincy Jones), Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, and a series of award-winning international commercials. Critics and audiences have raved: "STOMP is a sure-fire crowd pleaser with a rock-and-roll heart," says The New York Times. "STOMP finds beautiful noise in the strangest places," says USA Today. Stomp is the winner of an Olivier Award for Best Choreography (London's Tony Award); an Obie Award; a Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatre Experience, and a Special Citation from Best Plays.
