In tribute to '50 Years of Bond,' Kirsten Holly Smith (as Dusty Springfield) and Christina Sajous (as Dusty's lover, Claire), stars of the new musical Forever Dusty, have recorded a music video of "The Look of Love," putting a new spin on Burt Bacharach and Hal David's Oscar nominated classic made popular by Dusty Springfield herself from the 1967 James Bond film, Casino Royale. That year, the song famously lost the Academy Award to "Talk to the Animals" from Doctor Doolittle, but at Sunday's Oscars, Adele is favored to win for her own Bond tune, a new rendition of "Skyfall." The video was recorded on stage at New World Stages, where Forever Dusty opened on November 18, 2012 and continues to play to packed houses. The show's musical director Michael Thomas Murray accompanies them on the piano. This video was edited and shot by Marcus Bustamante.

In other Oscar news, Forever Dusty star Kirsten Holly Smith also appears in one of this year's Oscar nominated shorts, Curfew.

Co-written by Kirsten Holly Smith and Jonathan Vankin, and directed by Randal Myler (Love, Janis; It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues), Forever Dusty is a new musical about the life and times of legendary icon Dusty Springfield. Performances began on November 11, 2012 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street), with an official Opening Night on Sunday, November 18, 2012.
Along with Smith and Sajous (Spider-Man, American Idiot), Forever Dusty features Coleen Sexton (Jekyll and Hyde, Wicked National Tour), Benim Foster (Barefoot in the Park, Twelve Angry Men), Sean Patrick Hopkins (Forever Plaid, Angels in America), Ashley Betton (Peep Show, Midsummer Night's Dream) and Jonathan C. Kaplan (Falsettos, Diary of Anne Frank).

Forever Dusty tells the compelling and moving story of Dusty's journey, in a dramatic, high-energy musical filled with some of the most exciting pop songs ever written, including "Son of a Preacher Man," "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," "The Look of Love," and many others.
The Forever Dusty box office is located at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Tickets range in price from $59.00 - $79.00, with premium tickets available at $110.
