Two hit Off-Broadway shows are each currently offering dinner and a show for one low price in the heart of Times Square. HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER at Sofia's Downstairs Theater offers dinner or lunch at all performances, included in the ticket price. And SILENCE! The Musical is currently celebrating Halloween with special combo package deals for all performances through November 4th.

At HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, you too can experience the privilege, respect and air of superiority enjoyed by millions who call themselves New Yorkers. But it requires training, even if you were born here. The show's creators, Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, will show you how to develop the instincts for disdainful glances, peevish muttering and innate rudeness that distinguish true New Yorkers. Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Robert Ross Parker, this hilarious new comedy shows audiences everything they ever needed to know about what it takes to be a real New Yorker, or at least not stand out as a tourist. Actors/Comedians and licensed NYC tour guides, Copeland and Doyle, take you on a whirlwind comedic romp filled with stories from the world's largest landfill in Staten Island to the home of the Bronx Bombers. All this, and a full Italian dinner (or lunch) catered by Sophia's Ristorante Italiano - an NYC tradition. Whether you're a local, transplant or tourist, HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER is fun for everyone.

Winner of the 2012 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical, SILENCE! The Musical is the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli. After opening on July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, the show immediately became a sold-out phenomenon and was selected by Time Magazine as one of the year's Top 5 Musicals.

In the Academy Award-winning film The Silence of the Lambs, rookie FBI agent Clarice Starling matches wits with the brilliant but insane cannibal, Dr. Hannibal Lecter, to catch the serial killer known only as Buffalo Bill. Clarice faces her own demons while racing the clock to unlock Lecter's clues before another innocent girl is killed and skinned by Buffalo Bill. The laugh-out-loud raunchy satire, SILENCE! The Musical, features a singing chorus of floppy eared lambs narrating the action as Buffalo Bill gleefully dances a hoedown while kidnapping hapless Catherine Martin. Even Dr. Lecter, scary as ever, sings about the life he'd like to lead someday outside the prison walls.

Featured in the cast of SILENCE! The Musical are David Ayers, Pamela Bob, Harry Bouvy, Ashlee Dupré, Stephen Hanna, Howard Kaye, James Moye, Topher Nuccio, Ronica V. Reddick, Kimberly Stern, and Doug Trapp.
