Roundabout's Distracted with Cynthia Nixon Extends to May 17

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is pleased to announce the extension of the New York premiere production of Distracted, by Lisa Loomer, directed by Mark Brokaw. Distracted opened on Wednesday, March 4th and has been extended to Sunday, May 17 th, 2009 at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street).

The cast of Distracted features Peter Benson, Shana Dowdeswell, Lisa Emery, Natalie Gold, Matthew Gumley, Mimi Lieber, Aleta Mitchell, Cynthia Nixon, and Josh Stamberg.

Distracted is a fast-paced and disarmingly funny look at parenting in the age of the Internet and Ritalin. In this New York premiere, a contemporary American mom reaches out to teachers, psychotherapists, and neighbors to figure out if Attention Deficit Disorder is the root of her son's problems.

PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE:
Distracted plays Tuesday through Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m.
