Bernard just wants to sit on his roof to enjoy a drink and some peace and quiet. But his nine-year-old new neighbor Rory has other ideas. These two eccentric people form an unlikely friendship in this laugh-out-loud play bursting with love and compassion. This heart-warming tale is sheer delight for the holiday season.

The production was called "tender and beautiful...revelatory and moving" by New Jersey's Star-Ledger at its world premiere in Mile Square Theatre's home in Hoboken. The newspaper also hailed it as one of the best productions of 2017.

Theater veteran and Emmy Award-nominee Richard Masur returns to the stage in a tour-de-force performance as Bernard. He is joined by Dasha Dakkuri as Rory. Eve Johnson is the alternate.

The design team includes Matthew J. Fick (set design); Justin Partier (lighting design); Peter Fogel(costume design); and Sean Hagerty (sound design). The Production Stage Manager is Jack Cummins.
