Performance Space 122 presents the world premiere of The Lone Wolf Production of Bride written by Kevin Augustine to play March 16 - 30.

"While God the Father struggles with dementia, the dismembered Mother Goddess crawls through the dark of heaven's basement;  calls for salvation go unanswered as the world below spins closer toward Armageddon; tick tock, tick tock...  Bride remembers the bloody shift from polytheism to monotheism, conjuring a 4,000 year old love story whose partnership has been long forgotten, and whose union may be our only hope.  A stunningly visual, epic production, Bride fearlessly embodies the company's mission to create puppet theatre that is emotional, visceral and brutally poetic," describe press notes, "Written by Kevin Augustine and performed by Lone Wolf Tribe, Bride is their most ambitious production yet:  a stylistic bastard child between Samuel Beckett's minimalist nihilism and the gothic horror of Mary Shelley.  Driven by Augustine's signature raw partnership with his hand-carved foam rubber puppets, Bride boasts a cast of 14 performers, including a live quintet composed and directed by Andrea La Rose.'

The cast includes Kevin Augustine, dancer James Graber, courtesy of the Metropolitan Opera; physical comedian Rob Lok; puppeteers Z Briggs, Frankie Cordero, Alissa Hunnicutt, Nina Kyle, Jamie Moore, Jessica Scott and Gloria Sun.

Music composed by Andrea La Rose and production co-directed by Ken Berman of Dramaton Theatre and Kevin Augustine; Graphics and props by Gloria Sun; Sets by Tom Lee; Lighting by Miranda Hardy; Sound by Dave Malloy; Costumes by Shima Ushiba and Caroline Walter; Makeup by Ana Marie Salamat.

Bride previews Sunday, March 16 at 7PM and Monday, March 17 at 8PM; opening Wednesday, March 19 at 8PM.  Bride runs March 19 - March 30 on the following schedule:  Wednesday - Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 7PM.
