Playhouse Creatures Theatre Company has announced the cast and creative team for the quirky comedy LOVE SONG by John Kolvenbach, slated for a summer production running June 9 through 24, 2012 at Access Theater (380 Broadway at White Street).
The cast will include Playhouse Creatures Theatre company members Eric Doss (Houston Shakespeare Festival; HGO-Basil Twist) as the eccentric Beane, Sarah Koestner (The Libertine, Theatre Row) as his hard- driving successful sister, Joseph W. Rodriguez (Macbeth, New Perspectives; Hamlet, A.R.T.) as brother-in-law Harry, and Patricia Duran (Porco Morto, Mabou Mines; Our Lady of 121st Street, Alley Theatre) as the mysterious Molly. The production will be directed by Kenny Wade Marshall with Light and Set

Beane is an exile from life-an oddball. His well-meaning sister, Joan, and brother-in-law, Harry, try and make time for him in their busy lives, but neither can get through. Following a burglary on Beane's apartment, Joan is baffled to find her brother blissfully happy and tries to unravel the
story behind his mysterious new love, Molly.
The Show Runs June 9 through 24, Wednesday - Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 3:00 pm
