The Players Theatre, located at 115 MacDougal Street in New York City's Greenwich Village, will host its first Summer Performance Arts Camp for ages 13-18 from July 16th to July 20th.

"The five days of instruction by industry professionals includes hands on training in musical theatre, dance, acting, singing, movement, songwriting, improvisation, scene writing, character development and set design.  The Arts Camp concludes with the creation of an original show performed by the students on the final day of the program," state press notes.

Instructors include Holly Mandel, founder and head of New York's Improvolution! School of Improv; June Rachelson-Ospa, founder of Bozomoon Productions; Michael Roderick, casting director and producer, and Marci Elyn Schein, voice coach and cabaret and musical theatre teacher.

The fee is $500 and scholarships are available.  No previous training is required.  To register for The Players Theatre Summer Performance Arts Camp, email playerstheatrecamp@gmail.com or call (212) 475-1449.
