The Fellowship for Performing Arts production of C.S. Lewis ONSTAGE: THE MOST RELUCTANT CONVERT has extended its run at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd Street) through May 21, 2017. Adapted for the stage by and starring award-winning actor Max McLean, THE MOST RELUCTANT CONVERT opened last night, Thursday, March 2, and BroadwayWorld has photos from the curtain call and festivities below!
THE MOST RELUCTANT CONVERT offers an engaging and humorous look at Lewis' early life, presented in the famous writer's own words, as he recalls his remarkable journey from atheist to Christian and what he learned about himself along the way. McLean, who also co-directs, inhabits Lewis from the death of his mother, his estranged relationship with his father and the experiences that led him from vigorous debunker to one of the most vibrant and influential Christian intellectuals of the 20th Century.
THE MOST RELUCTANT CONVERT features scenic design by Kelly James Tighe, costume design by Michael Bevins, lighting design by Geoffrey D. Fishburn, original music and sound design by John Gromada, voice coaching by Claudia Hill and projection design by Rocco DiSanti.
