The Public Theater held the opening night of Suzan-Lori Parks new play, THE BOOK OF GRACE, on March 16th. THE BOOK OF GRACE weaves the story of three people bound together by love and longing, passion and ambition.
Treasured for her groundbreaking poetic and inventive language, Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks (Topdog/Underdog) has drawn a family portrait shattered by issues of rage, revenge, power and betrayal. When a young man returns home to South Texas to confront his father, everyday life erupts into a battle for personal survival.
Performances of THE BOOK OF GRACE take place Tuesday through Frday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, and Sunday at 2:30pm and 7:30pm. Tickets are available for purchased online at tickets.publictheater.org or by calling the box office at 212-967-7555. The production runs through April 4th.
