On Monday, September 20th, THE 39 STEPS will celebrate its 1000th performance in New York City. This milestone is especially unique since THE 39 STEPS played almost 800 performances on Broadway in three different theaters, making it the longest running Broadway play in almost a decade. Currently, the show is in its new home Off-Broadway at New World Stages. Adapted by Patrick Barlow and directed by Maria Aitken, THE 39 STEPS is based on an original concept by Simon Corble and Nobby Dimon and on the book by John Buchan.
On Monday, September 20th, the talk back series continues with novelist
Tom Santopietro who will host a special post-show talk back with the cast of THE 39 STEPS. Tom has written a book about legendary Hitchcock blonde
Doris Day. The talkback is open to all ticket holders and will take place immediately following the evening performance.
Also on Monday and throughout September, the 3rd annual Hitchcock month continues with audience giveaways and special prizes.
