Following a wildly successful run at the New York Theatre Festival, producers Keena McDonald and Patricia Tierney, in association with Michael Sgouros, announce the Off-Broadway Premiere production of a new, deeply-relevant musical, Humanity's Child: A Musical for Today!

The Musical tells the story of a group of young women navigating the complexities of gender relations in the 21st century through an international cast of thirteen "20-somethings," "Humanity's Cousins," among them a young woman, "Humanity's Child," who deeply feels the stresses of contemporary life and is genuinely afraid for her future as she faces a world of dissonance, division, and danger. Fortunately, in the tradition of wise-women counselors, The Giver offers her support and guidance, encouraging her to participate joyfully in life, to connect with others, and to speak with a common voice for what is right!

The cast of Humanity's Child features Natassha Amalia, Momoyo Arai, Sarah Bialkin, Cora Jean-Baptiste, Jenn Nicole Keanini, Leica Lucien, and Refilwe Maitisa as Humanity's Cousins, Keena McDonald as The Giver, Genevive Inez McCarthy as Humanity's Shadow, and introducing Lizzy Moreno as Humanity's Child.

There will be a talk back with the cast and creative team following the performance on opening night, August 9th!
