Take a look at the final dress rehearsal of KIM, written and performed by Daniel Burns, as part of the United Solo Festival at Theatre Row Off-Broadway.
Paul McKerrow, once the golden boy of Helena, Montana, returns to his former stomping grounds for his twentieth high school reunion. Once the golden boy of rural Helena, Paul McKerrow is now Kimberly Reed- a tall, beautiful, blonde lesbian filmmaker. She has returned to Helena, with a camera in tow, to reclaim the half of her life she let regrettably disappear.
KIM is a universal story of love, family and self-acceptance. "The desire to fit in, to pass, to be accepted, to be loved, to be acknowledged and to be heard. That's what KIM is about- at it's core- the chance to go back and make amends, to reclaim your life."
Daniel Burns originated the role of Nicholas Hodges in the World Premiere of Conviction at Bay Street Theatre and in the West Coast Premiere at Rubicon Theatre Company.
