Peter Friedman, Keilly McQuail, Naian Gonzalez Norvind,Robbie Collier Sublett, Joyce Van Patten and Mare Winningham are featured in the LCT3/Lincoln Center Theaterworld premiere of Her Requiem, by Greg Pierce, directed by Kate Whoriskey. Her Requiem opened last night, February 22, and runs for six weeks only through Sunday, March 20 at the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). Check out photos below!
In
Her Requiem, which was commissioned by LCT3, Caitlin (to be played by
Naian Gonzalez Norvind) takes her senior year off from high school to compose a full-scale requiem. Inspired by her dedication, her father, Dean (
Peter Friedman), becomes obsessed with requiems and the people who love them, while her mother, Allison (
Mare Winningham), becomes concerned about Caitlin's isolation from everyone aside from her music teacher. As their once-cozy Vermont home becomes a nexus for lost souls, Dean and Allison must confront the fact that their daughter's project is destroying their family.
