The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Interim Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and the preservation of musical gems from the past, celebrates musical revues with the final show of the Winter 2016 Musicals in Mufti Series: Starting Here, Starting Now, with music by David Shire and lyrics and direction by Richard Maltby, Jr. Check out photos below!

With music direction by Kevin Stites, the three-member cast features Krystal Joy Brown (Motown, The Musical), Charlotte Maltby (Empire), and Bobby Conte Thornton (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum).

The limited engagement of Starting Here, Starting Now began March 12 for 10 performances only through Sunday, March 20, 2016 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Opening Night is TONIGHT, Sunday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m.

This bold, extroverted revue takes a journey through the maze of modern relationships with its heart firmly on its sleeve. From tender ballads to hysterical husband-hunting laments, from wry comments on trendy marriages to ecstatic shouting-from-the-rooftop celebration, Starting Here, Starting Now has an appealing freshness as relevant today as it was when it premiered in 1976.

Single tickets for Starting Here, Starting Now are priced at $45 and available online at www.yorktheatre.org, by calling (212) 935-5820, or in person at the box office at the York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue), Monday through Friday (12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.).
