THE GOOD BOY is the humorous and heartwarming tale of Michael Bonnabel's struggle to gain independence from his large, loving and complicated family, led by deaf parents. Told in sign, speech and song, Bonnabel explores the weight of the adult responsibilities he faced as a young boy, as well as his yearning to bond with his emotionally distant father.
THE GOOD BOY runs now through May 19: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm; Fridays at 8pm; Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm; and Sundays at 2pm (with the following exception: Sunday, May 5 at 5pm) at Abingdon Theatre Company (312 West 36th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Sign-Interpreted performances for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community to be offered on Wednesday, May 8 at 7pm and Saturday, May 18 at 2pm. Tickets are $25. For tickets, call 212-868-2055 or visit www.abingdontheatre.org.
