Atlantic Theater Company presents Nancy Harris' play Our New Girl,directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch and starring Lisa Joyce, Henry Kelemen, Atlantic Theater Company founding member Mary McCann, and CJ Wilson. Our New Girl began previews Wednesday, May 28 and opens Tuesday, June 10 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 29, 2014 off-Broadway at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street). Behind the shiny door of Hazel Robinson's perfect London home, nothing is as it seems. Hazel's husband Richard (Wilson), a plastic surgeon, has embarked on his latest charitable quest in Haiti, leaving the heavily-pregnant Hazel (McCann) with a failing business and a problem son (Kelemen). When a professional nanny (Joyce) arrives unannounced on the Robinsons' doorstep, Hazel finds her home under the shadow of a perfect stranger with an agenda of her own. In Our New Girl, up-and-coming Irish playwright Nancy Harris presents a psychological drama about the darker side of modern parenthood.
OUR NEW GIRL features scenic design by Timothy R. Mackabee, costume design by Sarah J. Holden, lighting design by David Weiner, and sound design by Stowe Nelson.
