The North American premiere of Olivier Award nominee Duncan Macmillan's highly acclaimed new play, Every Brilliant Thing, is now in performance at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street) with an opening night set for Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 7:30PM. Featuring Jonny Donahoe and directed by George Perrin, the Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre Company production of Every Brilliant Thing comes to New York fresh off its smash hit, much-raved-over engagements in London and Edinburgh, as well as a UK tour.
BroadwayWorld has a first look at Donahoe in action below!
1. Ice cream, 2. Water fights, 3. Things with stripes, 4. Christopher Walken's voice, 5. Rollercoasters. In Every Brilliant Thing, a young boy attempts to ease his mother's depression by creating a list of all the best things in the world. Everything worth living for. Through adulthood, as the list grows, he learns the deep significance it has on his own life. Every Brilliant Thing is a new play about depression and the lengths we will go for those we love.
The Paines Plough and Pentabus Theatre Company production of Every Brilliant Thing is presented Off-Broadway by Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian, Tom Wirtshafter, and Patrick Daly.
