Joan Beber's DEAR JANE Opens Tonight at Theatre Row

This month, playwright Joan Beber, premieres her newest play DEAR JANE at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre (410 W 42 Street). The show opens tonight, July 26, for a run through August 26, 2017. DEAR JANE is directed by Katrin Hilbe with choreography by Wendy Seyb. BroadwayWorld has a look at the cast in action below!

Set in an NYC rehearsal room, DEAR JANE journeys into the life of a passionate artist, Julie, who explores the many divergent paths of her past. From her fractured relationship with her identical twin Jane, to love affairs, questionable parenting skills, and her time as a political activist - she strives for something beyond our boundaries, reaching for art as the ultimate expression of meaning.

The cast includes Jenny Piersol (National Tour: South Pacific), Amanda Rose (Broadway: Holiday Inn. National Tour: Wicked), Santina Umbach (Broadway: Mamma Mia), Brandon Timmons (Regional: Young Frankenstein, The Music Man), Holly Cinnamon (Regional: Into the Woods, A Christmas Carols), Jon Kovach (TV:" Little House on the Prairie"), and Michael Romeo Ruocco (NY: The Underclassmen)

On the creative team are John McDermott (Scenic Design), Gertjan Houben (Lighting and Projection Design), Lara de Bruijn (Costume Design), Andy Evan Cohen (Sound Design), Giles T. Horne (Production Stage Manager), Stephanie Klapper Casting (Casting) and Perry Street Theatricals (General Management). DEAR JANE is being presented by Undercover Productions.
