After a recent performance of the Off-Broadway hit The Toxic Avenger, actor Nicholas Rodriguez took some time out to pose for a very special "Spotlight" feature for the BroadwayWorld.com cameras.
Nicholas Rodriguez, who recently joined The cast of the ABC-TV daytime soap opera "One Life To Live," set in the fictional town of Llanview, PA did double duty from July 1-19 when he spent his time in the "truly toxic" town of Tromaville, NJ in the award-winning Best New Musical The Toxic Avenger (2009 Outer Critics Circle Award for "Best New Off-Broadway Musical") while Drama Desk nominated original cast member Demond Green took a three-week break from the show.
Rodriguez now plays 'Nick' on the long-running daytime soap, the August 14th episode was the first to feature the actor. Rodriguez has been a member of The cast of The Toxic Avenger understudying all the male roles since the show began performances at New York's New World Stages (340 W. 50th St.).
Nicholas Rodriguez was most recently seen in Birdland's THE LEADING MAN IV BC/EFA Benefit Concert. The actor was last seen on the Broadway stage as the main character in TARZAN. Other stage appearances include Angels, Oklahoma!, Bajour, and Almost Heaven.
