Game of Love: The Songs of Charles Aznavour, a new musical revue slated to appear off-Broadway in the fall of 2017, received an industry invitation-only reading presentation in New York City and BroadwayWorld and lots of lovers were in attendance for the performance at Nola Studios.
Conceived and directed by Will Nunziata, the musical will star Clint Holmes featured a cast that included Nicole Henry, Lindsay Roginski, and Ariana Savalas. Music direction was by Christian Tamburr.
Named the "Entertainer of the Century" by CNN, Charles Aznavour is the award-winning French and Armenian singer, songwriter, actor, public activist and diplomat who has written over 800 songs, recorded over 1,200 in eight different languages, and sold more than 180 million records.
Known as "France's Frank Sinatra," his hit songs include What Makes A Man A Man, The Sound of Your Name, She, The Old Fashioned Way, Yesterday When I Was Young, There Is A Time and many, many more.
Deep End Productions / Cecelia Joyce Johnson and Sunny Sessa present the reading. The stage manager is Melanie T. Morgan.
