THE BROADWAY CHALLENGE, a new and unique app for theatre trivia, was launched through the Apple App Store this weekend. Created by Dramatic Forces, the App functions on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. THE BROADWAY CHALLENGE is a must have app for every theatre fan. It's a multi-layered, multi game, all theatre trivia immersion with gorgeous graphics and sound effects. Play against yourself, your friends, the rest of the world. With 10 challenge games, eight unique question categories, and over 4000 original questions, you can play non-stop for an entire Broadway season and still not hit every question. The Broadway Challenge App will be updated with special new trivia packages throughout the year.
THE BROADWAY CHALLENGE app is $2.99 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS.

"It's our hope that our app will bring theatre fans of all ages together and introduce Broadway to new audiences.The app was official launced Sunday, September 26, 2010 at the 24th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction, in Shubert Alley where Kristen Chenoweth (Promises Promises, "Glee"), John Tartaglia (Avenue Q, ImaginOcean, Disney's TV series Johnny and the Sprites)"), Jackie Hoffman (The Addams Family, Xanadu, Hairspray), Andrea McArdle (Annie, Les MIserables), Ann Harada (Avenue Q, Les Miserables), Seth Rudetsky (They're Paying Our Song, The Ritz), Neil McCaffrey and Ben Cook (Billy Elliot) and other theatre stars played 'Take The Challenge' with Flea Market visitors. iPods were awarded to top scorers of the day and an iPad package was auctioned off at the BC/EFA Grand Auction.Photo Credit: Logan Metzler
