McLane, Peters, Rivera et al. Set for 'Broadway Unleashed' Animal Rescue Benefit, 5/17

Broadway Unleashed will present 'Stars Of Broadway In Concert,' a benefit to support the Sean Casey Animal Rescue, on May 17 at Backstage at Trattoria Dopo Teatro. Judy McLane, who is currently starring as 'Tanya' in Mamma Mia! is putting together the event, which will hosts special guests Bernadette Peters (guest speaker), Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel, Everett Bradley, Robert Creighton, Malcolm Gets, Darius de Haas, Dale Hensley, Gina Ferrall, Dee Hoty, Norm Lewis, Rosemary Loar, Olga Merediz, and Howard McGillin. Chita Rivera will be a special guest at the VIP dinner.

VIP tickets, which includes dinner and drinks at 7PM, are $200. The purpose of Sean Casey Animal Rescue is to aid unfortunate animals in the interest of a higher quality of life. The Animal Rescue takes in rescued, confiscated, neglected, injured, ill, unmanageable, or otherwise unwanted animals from private owners, zoos, shelters, and other public organizations. These animals are cared for, and/or rehabilitated to the best of our ability and means  until which time they can be found healthy, happy homes - whether it be through adoption to qualified candidates or legally released into habitats suitable to the specific species in conjunction with licensed wildlife rehabilitators.
