Pattie Canova's SOULED OUT Plays An Encore At The Abingdon Theatre

Pattie Canova's SOULED OUT, an intimate, interactive evening of tarot tales and psychic glimpses, extends its encore engagement at The Abindgon Theater for two more shows this January and February.

SOULED OUT, which has previously been presented at Primary Stage, Ars Nova and The Zipper Factory Theater, has Canova, a respected spiritual counselor and entertainer, giving impromptu tarot card readings to audience members while sharing tales of her own unbelievable personal journey.

SOULED OUT will be performed on Sunday, January 24 @ 7PM and Sunday, February 21 @ 7PM. The Abingdon Theater is located at 312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues. Tickets to SOULED OUT are $15 advanced, $20 at the door and are now available online at www.smarttix.com.

For over twenty-five years, Pattie Canova has been a psychological intuitive, reader, teacher, lecturer, writer, and performer. Enhanced by a strong background in theatre, mythology, writing, metaphysics and a deep spirituality, Pattie incorporates keen analyses and constructive insights into her work, following a "what you think is what you'll see" philosophy. She is a dynamic, compassionate and energetic woman, who inspires through humor and candor.

Recognized as an expert in metaphysics and tarot, Pattie has been quoted in and referenced in numerous national magazines, has appeared on several television shows and news channels including CNN, and has been a frequent guest on numerous New York and national radio programs. This past December, Pattie joined the esteemed group of featured guests in the Rubin Museum's Red Book Dialogues. This group includes film director Jonathan Demme, philosopher Cornel West, novelist and activist Alice Walker, dramatist John Patrick Shanley, and comedienne Sarah Silverman.

Pattie embraces both the written and spoken word. She is the author Tarot Sutra: An Intimate Guide to the Secret Language of Sex, which has been chosen twice by the Literary Guild/Book of the Month Club and recommended by Marie Claire and Playboy magazines.

She is currently a faculty member at the National Council of Geocosmic Research. She teaches courses and intensive workshops including her popular ongoing workshop series, "Rediscovering the Self: Understanding the Ambition of the Soul's Journey", as well as the course: Tarot: "Symbolism and Metaphysical Psychology". Pattie was a faculty member for six years at New York's prestigious Open Center, an internationally known school of holistic education. She has guest lectured and given workshops at the Learning Annex, Open Center and Cooper Union University. Pattie was part of an esteemed panel of speakers on health issues for the Women's Health Forum, spearheaded by Hillary Clinton and sponsored by the United Nations, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ.

Pattie is the founder and president of Quiet Heart Productions, a center for quieting the mind and reorienting toward spirit. She is trained and certified in hypnotherapy.
