PUFFS or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic has announced that new cast members will join the company of the show's record breaking run at New World Stages. Original cast members Langston Belton, Julie Ann Earls, A.J. Ditty, and Eleanor Phillips, who have been with the show since the first public performance at the People Improv Theater, and James Fouhey, who joined Puffs when it transferred Off Broadway, are leaving the show.
The new cast - which will start together onstage Monday, August 20 - includes Anna Dart (Hannah, Others), Alex Haynes (Cedric/Voldy), Reginald Keith Jackson (Oliver), Sonia Mena (Megan) and Harry Waller (Narrator). From its origins at the Peoples Improv Theater in 2015 to its official Off-Broadway opening at the Elektra Theater in 2016, and now entertaining over 35,000 audience members, Puffs continues its remarkable journey. As its international profile and audience response has exploded, the Australian debut of Puffs - the show's first-ever global expansion, which made history by becoming Melbourne's longest running play of the last century - concluded its landmark engagement yesterday, Sunday, August 12. The Melbourne production was presented by Tilted Windmills Theatricals (John Arthur Pinckard & David Carpenter) in partnership with Australia's leading touring and ticketing company TEG [LIVE], at the Alex Theater in St. Kilda.
Earlier this year, fans across the country experienced the excitement of the stage play on the big screen through Fathom Events.

The play gives you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three new heroes just trying to make it through magic school.
