Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner star in the hit off-Broadway show Potted Potter, which closes today, September 1st, before they fly off on their national tour.

Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Potter Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff is a New York Times and New York Magazine Critics Pick! The return engagement officially opened on Tuesday, June 4th at the Little Shubert Theatre (422 West 42nd Street) for a limited New York run through today, September 1, 2013.

The production will tour the USA from September to December 2013. Cities and dates are available at the website: www.PottedPotter.com.

Potted Potter is written and performed by Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner with direction by Richard Hurst. The creative team includes Simon Scullion (Sets), Tim Mascall (Lighting), Phil Innes (Music), Richard Hurst (additional material) and Hanna Berrigan (Associate Director).

Corey Ross/Starvox Entertainment and James Seabright/Potted Productions are the producers of Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience - A Parody by Dan and Jeff.

In addition to being a critic's pick by the New York Times, New York Magazine and Time Out London, the show received the prestigious 2012 Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment & Family Show, playing to sold out houses worldwide.

Written and performed by former BBC Television hosts Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, the play takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing, or "potting" all seven Harry Potter books into 70 madcap minutes, aided only by multiple costume changes, brilliant songs, ridiculous props and a generous helping of Hogwarts magic. The show also invites audiences to engage with a real life game of Quidditch, according to Clarkson and Turner's unique set of rules.

Whether you camped outside a bookstore for three days awaiting the release of the Deathly Hallows or you don't know the difference between a Horcrux and a Hufflepuff, the comedy, magic and mayhem of Potted Potter makes for an entertaining and hilarious visit to the theatre. The fast-paced show, which has made audiences aged six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed) roar with laughter all over the world, is perfect for the entire family.
