She's come home! Jenny Bacon who received unanimous acclaim for her role in the long-running hit play My Name Is Asher Lev returns to The Westside Theatre beginning tonight.

My Name Is Asher Lev, based on the best selling novel by Chaim Potok, recently celebrated 200 performances and is currently on sale through September 1st.

Jenny Bacon re-joins original cast members Ari Brand and Mark Nelson. The three actors began performances on November 8, 2012.

Directed by Gordon Edelstein (The Glass Menagerie), the distinguished creative team for My Name is Asher Lev includes set design by Eugene Lee (Wicked); lighting design by James F. Ingalls (Glengarry Glen Ross); costume design by Ilona Somogyi (Clybourne Park) and original music/sound design by John Gromada(Gore Vidal's The Best Man, Proof).

Set in post-war Brooklyn, My Name is Asher Lev tells the coming- of-age story of a boy prodigy who must be an artist at any cost -- against the will of family, community and tradition. It is the powerful telling of a young artist with a universal theme to follow our passion - against everything.
