Dena Blizzard premieres her one-woman comedy show, "One Funny Mother: I'm Not Crazy!!" Off-Broadway this April at the Players Theater in NYC.
"One Funny Mother: I'm Not Crazy!!" is a hilarious comedy about parenthood that embraces the duties of motherhood, highlights the changes that occur when you become a parent and gives women and men a chance to laugh at the realities of growing older and the chaos that comes with raising children. The laughter comes alive every Saturday night at 7 p.m. starting April 18 through Mother's Day Weekend, May 9.
Blizzard, a married mother of three from South Jersey, has been in the realm of comedy for more than 12 years. She has performed at the Trop in Las Vegas/Atlantic City, Gotham Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory, Catch a Rising Star and at the United Nations for the Comedy Cures foundation in 2009. Dena is the official preliminary host for the Miss America Pageant and was a correspondent for the 2014 Miss America Pre-Show on ABC. She has previously co-hosted Anderson Live with Anderson Cooper, Hosted Real Simple on PBS and has been an on-air correspondent/panelist for shows like Nate Berkus and the Joy Behar Show. Blizzard is also a regular fill in on NJ 101.5 and has been a warm-up comedian for Katie Couric, The Chew and the Rachel Ray Show.
