If you want to see the new dance musical TRIP OF LOVE this fall, you'll have to head to Stage 42. That's the new name of off-Broadway's 499-seat Little Shubert Theatre, located at 442 West 42nd Street, on Theatre Row. New signs and displays are being installed as we speak!

According to press notes, "The new name, Stage 42, adopts the terminology used for the five venues within the Shubert-owned off-Broadway theatre complex, New World Stages (340 West 50th Street): Stage 1 through Stage 5."

The Little Shubert was built in 2002 and was the first off-Broadway theatre in New York built from the ground up, as well as the first to be owned by the Shubert Organization. It is one of the largest venues off-Broadway.

TRIP OF LOVE will begin performances at Stage 42 on September 26. Inspired by and set to the biggest hit songs of the 1960s, the show is created, directed and choreographed by James Walski. TRIP OF LOVE is set to officially open in October of 2015.

American pop culture is still pulsing with the psychedelic energy of the Sixties, an era of expression and revolution around the world. The music told the story then and it will again this fall as TRIP OF LOVE brings the decade to life with over 25 of the biggest hits of the '60s, including "Blowin' In The Wind," "Born To Be Wild," "California Dreamin'," "I Saw Her Standing There," "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'," "White Rabbit," "You Don't Own Me" and many more. TRIP OF LOVE will feature a cast of 23 actors alongside a ten-piece orchestra.

The TRIP OF LOVE creative team includes director/choreographer James Walski (Saturday Night Fever, Starlight Express), scenic design consultant Tony Award winner Robin Wagner (The Producers, Dreamgirls), and costume designer Tony Award winner Gregg Barnes (Aladdin, Kinky Boots). TRIP OF LOVE is produced by Makoto Deguchi(Blue Man Group: Tubes), and had its world premiere at the Theatre Brava! in Osaka, Japan.
