When "Growing Up Gonzales," Off-Broadway's newest hit show, opened in the East Village seven years ago in a 17-seat community center, no one knew it would become one of NYC's most successful Latino plays.
"Growing Up Gonzales" is a one-man show about two brothers in search of forgiveness. It is a show filled with comedy, tragedy, culture and heart.
Audiences of all backgrounds have given this unique show a resounding stamp of approval. Felix Rojas' writing is vibrant, inspiring and powerful and Solo performer Andres "Chulisi" Rodriguez, under Rojas' direction, puts forth an award winning performance.
The "Growing Up Gonzales" company will be performing five shows in October at The Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago.
