National Lampoon's Bayside! The Musical! - the hilarious unauthorized parody of the wholesome Saturday morning program "Saved by the Bell" - will present a special Halloween edition this year. Tonight, October 29 through Saturday, November 1, the new show will be inspired on the classic 1991 "Mystery Weekend" episode of "Saved by the Bell." That week is also "Saved by the Bell" Costume Week: anyone who attends the musical dressed as their favorite character will receive a special prize. Dustin Diamond - the original "Screech" from the TV series - will be featured in every performance through December 6, playing Dustin Diamond, the role he was born to play.

Bayside! The Musical! Bayside! opened in a new edition in September - produced by the iconic humor brand National Lampoon - to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the "Saved by the Bell" premiere. With seven extensions, the show has been playing to feverishly-enthusiastic, standing-room-only crowds since September 2013. National Lampoon's Bayside! The Musical! is currently running at Theatre 80 (80 St. Mark's Place at First Avenue). Please visit www.BaysideTheMusical.com for details.

"Bayside! The Musical! fits perfectly into both our immediate and future plans for the brand," says Alan Donnes, president of National Lampoon. "The winning formula for National Lampoon is, and has always been, a parody of something well known to the masses. Our movie National Lampoon's Vacation and its sequels work because everyone loves family vacations and gets the jokes. For many people, Bayside! and these characters are like old friends, which makes the humor very relatable."

Bayside! tackles all the tough questions: Will Zack and Kelly break up? Will Slater quit wrestling forever? Screech die? This show has it all: brick-sized cell phones, homoerotic wrestling, abject feminism, sexy ducks covered in oil, Trapper Keepers, and the perils of caffeine addiction.

Bayside! The Musical! features book, music, lyrics and direction by Bob and Tobly McSmith (Showgirls! The Musical!, JonBenet! Murder Mystery Theater!). The choreography is by Jason Wise ("Fiddler at 50" at Symphony Space, Michael John LaChiusa's See What I Wanna See at The Producers Club), who also serves as associate director. The music director is Susan O'Dea. Scenic design is by Bryan Hartlett. Costume design is by Shamira Clark and John Duff. Lighting design is by Adam Lash. Sound design is by Lauren Vargas. Bayside! The Musical! is produced by MediumFace Productions.

The cast features Sam Harvey as Zack Morris, Katie Mebane as Kelly KaPOWski, John Duff as A.C. Slater, April Kidwell (also star of Showgirls! The Musical!) as Jessie Spano, Justin Cimino as Samuel "Screech" Powers, Shamira Clark as Lisa Turtle, Amanda Nicholas as Every Other Student at Bayside and former New York City mayoral candidate Seth Blum as Mr. Belding.

Bayside! The Musical! The Original Cast Recording! was released on March 17, 2014 and is available on iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay, Spotify and all Digital Media outlets.
