OCCAM REPERTORY THEATER presents three fully independent plays from George F. Walker's critically acclaimed Suburban Motel collection, performed in an intimate site-specific, installation-style performance space. Sex, violence and mayhem take center stage in these extreme comedies from one of Canada's most accomplished playwrights.

Two different dark and hilarious plays will be performed each night in rotating rep from Dec 3 to Dec 17, for total of eight performances of each play. (There are no shows Dec 7, 8 and 14.) Curtain times are 7 and 9pm, each night. General admission tickets: $18; all three plays for $39.

The SLC Conference Center - 352 7th Ave, (at 30th St.) 16th floor - will be transformed into a forlorn suburban motel room where 11 vital characters in three plays try to hold their fraying lives together. Tickets are available through www.smarttix.com.

GEORGE F. Walker is one of the most widely produced Canadian dramatists both in Canada and internationally. He has written over 30 stage scripts and has also written many television shows, radio shows and movies. FEATURING LORETTA, RISK EVERYTHING and ADULT ENTERTAINMENT are full-length, independent dark comedies that each happen to take place in the same decrepit motel room. Beloved by actors, the plays depict the riotous struggles of complex characters under extreme emotional and physical distress.

OCCAM REP is founded on the idea that good theater, while inspired by the imagination, is never pretend. The company is named after Occam's Razor, the principle that all other things being equal, a simple explanation is usually preferable to an unnecessarily complex one.
